I grew up in Michigan during the 1970s, and Classic American muscle cars were everywhere. My father had a business in a small town filled with employees from Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler, and many of my relatives worked for them. So, they were a common sight for me growing up.
When I was just 15 years old, I purchased my first muscle car, a 1971 Chevelle Super Sport clone. I was hooked from the moment I laid eyes on it, and I spent countless hours working on it and learning everything I could about muscle cars.
Since then, I’ve spent countless weekends attending car shows, auctions, swap meets, and drag strips, always looking for forgotten or overlooked muscle cars. My camera is always by my side, and I love nothing more than documenting these amazing machines and sharing their stories with the world.
But my passion for Classic muscle cars isn’t just about the thrill of the chase. I’m also dedicated to helping others explore this amazing world, whether experienced collectors or new enthusiasts just starting their journey. That’s why I created Muscle Cars Illustrated, a website offering information, insights, and inspiration for anyone who loves American muscle cars.
